In our “Manage Your Class” webinar, we mentioned your behavior system should include positive consequences.  In most schools, this is called positive behavior intervention support (PBIS).  PBIS is the way you respond when students do behave according to your expectation.  An example could be setting up a point system in your class so that students are able to choose a reward, if they reach a certain number of points.  The link below is composed of documents and ideas you can use to create your PBIS system.
